OUR STORY
The idea to open a new Christian academy was placed by God on the hearts of the members of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church.
After months of prayer, planning, and thoughtful discussion, what began as a calling grew into a clear vision—and by God’s grace, that vision became reality. In the 2023–2024 school year, Pleasant Ridge Christian Academy opened its doors to welcome its first class of students.

At P.R.C.A., we affirm God’s sovereignty and Christ’s Kingship. Everything we do is rooted in a desire to honor God and advance His Kingdom. Our students are taught the vision of God’s Kingdom and their unique place within it. We strive to build meaningful relationships with each child, recognizing and nurturing their God-given gifts and talents. We see each student as a whole person—called to grow in Christ-likeness. Each child will be both challenged and encouraged to reach their full potential—spiritually, academically, and personally.
We believe in partnering with parents and local churches to raise up a generation of godly, well-equipped, and thoughtful leaders—young people prepared to serve others and shine light in the world around them.
We will assist parents in their God-given mandate.
"Fathers, do not exasperate your children; instead, bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord."
Ephesians 6:4
Likewise, we will assist students in their God-given mandate.
"Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. "Honor your father and mother so that it may go well with you and that you may enjoy long life on the earth."
Ephesians 6:1-3

Our Beliefs
At Pleasant Ridge Christian Academy, we believe our ministry exists to glorify our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

We believe that Christian education is more than academic learning—it is the living application of biblical truth to every part of life. Every subject, every activity, and every relationship provides an opportunity to know God more deeply and reflect His wisdom in the world.
Our desire is to help students develop a biblical worldview, Christlike character, and the knowledge and skills needed to fulfill God’s unique calling on their lives.
We believe that Christian educators must be called, gifted, and grounded in faith. Each member of our faculty and staff is committed to the Lordship of Jesus Christ and dedicated to pursuing excellence in both teaching and discipleship.
We believe that true education nurtures the whole child—mind, body, and spirit. For this reason, we emphasize academic excellence, spiritual maturity, leadership growth, physical fitness, and strong moral character, equipping students to serve Christ with confidence and compassion.
We believe that parents are the primary educators of their children, entrusted by God with this sacred responsibility. Pleasant Ridge Christian Academy exists to support and strengthen families in this calling, providing a Christ-centered partnership that helps each student grow in wisdom, stature, and favor with God and man.
