Head of School
Compensation: Full-time leadership position beginning Summer 2027. Compensation will be commensurate with education, experience, and qualifications.

Job Description: The Head of School serves as the spiritual, academic, and executive leader of P.R.C.A., working in partnership with the P.R.C.A. School Board to advance the Academy’s mission and oversee its people, programs, operations, and continued growth. Responsibilities include providing leadership for daily operations, curriculum and instruction, faculty development and evaluation, student discipline, admissions and enrollment, financial stewardship, strategic planning, and relationships with families, church leadership, and the broader community. The Head of School is entrusted with protecting P.R.C.A.’s biblical identity while strengthening academic excellence and leading the Academy with integrity, wisdom, and faithfulness.
Required Personal Qualities: The successful candidate must demonstrate a credible Christian testimony, active involvement in a Bible-believing church, and full agreement with the Academy’s Statement of Faith. P.R.C.A. seeks a spiritually mature, visionary, relational, and organizationally strong leader who models integrity, humility, sound judgment, professionalism, and a Christ-like balance of grace and truth while inspiring others to advance the Academy’s mission and vision.
Job Requirements: Minimum of three years of experience in academic administration, classroom teaching, or a related educational leadership role. Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree in Education, Educational Leadership, or a related field preferred. Must demonstrate strong leadership, written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with the ability to lead teams through growth, steward financial resources, develop faculty, and maintain a sustained commitment to Christian education and student discipleship.

There is a legal penalty for not reporting suspected or alleged child abuse or alleged misconduct by instructional personnel or school administrators. The Florida Abuse Hotline is 1.800.962.2873. All instructional personnel, educational support employees, and school administrators have an obligation to report misconduct by instructional personnel, educational support employees, and school administrators which affects the health, safety, or welfare of a student. Examples of misconduct include obscene language, drug and alcohol use, disparaging comments, prejudice or bigotry, sexual innuendo, cheating or testing violations, physical aggression, and accepting or offering favors. Reports of misconduct of employees should be made to the Head of School of P.R.C.A. Reports of misconduct committed by administrators should be made to the Head of School. Legally sufficient allegations of misconduct by Florida-certified educators will be reported to the Office of Professional Practices Services. Policies and procedures for reporting misconduct by instructional personnel or school administrators which affect the health, safety, or welfare of a student are posted in the office of Pleasant Ridge Christian Academy.
