P.R.C.A. February Newsletter

February is a month full of momentum here at Pleasant Ridge Christian Academy. One that invites us to both reflect on the growth of our students and look ahead with excitement and intention.

This month, our students will enjoy hands-on learning during the Wonderworks Field Trip, continue building leadership through FFA meetings, and our school community will come together for one of our favorite annual events, the 2nd Annual Adult Spelling Bee on Friday, February 13th, at 6:00 PM at the DeFuniak Springs Community Center. This fun-filled evening supports our FFA program and is always a wonderful time of fellowship and laughter.

We also want to remind families that there will be no school on Monday, February 16th, in observance of President's Day.

Enrollment Is Now Open for the 2026–2027 School Year

One of the most important announcements this month is that student enrollment is officially OPEN for the 2026–2027 academic year. Limited spots are available, and we encourage families to apply early.

• Returning families should complete re-enrollment through the Praxi Parent Portal

• New families applying for Kindergarten or 6th–9th grade should select Apply Now on our website 👉 www.prcacademy.org

In addition, applications for Step Up for Students Scholarships open February 1st, making a Christ-centered education at PRCA financially attainable for many families. We strongly encourage both current and prospective families to apply as soon as possible.

Looking Ahead to March

As we glance toward next month, we’ll be preparing for progress monitoring, a half day on March 13th, Spring Break (March 16–20), and a Teacher Workday on March 23rd (no school for students).
