Pleasant Ridge Christian Academy is excited to welcome Dr. Stephanie Goldsmith, Ed.D., to our teaching faculty as our Secondary English Language Arts teacher for grades 6–9 for the upcoming school year.
Dr. Goldsmith brings 17 years of teaching experience along with a deep passion for Christian education, student growth, and academic excellence. Her educational background includes a Doctor of Education in Instructional Leadership, a Master’s Degree in Instructional Leadership, and a Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Humanities.
Her doctoral dissertation, “The Influence of Growth Mindset in Student Learning,” reflects her dedication to helping students develop confidence, perseverance, and a love of learning that extends far beyond the classroom.
When asked about her passion for teaching, Dr. Goldsmith shared:
“Teaching has always been my passion. I believe every student can grow and succeed in learning when encouraged with the right mindset. It is important as a teacher to inspire our students to develop confidence, perseverance, and a lifelong love of learning. Integrating Biblical principles and worldview into education is an important part of my teaching philosophy.”
At P.R.C.A., we are committed to partnering with educators who not only strive for academic excellence but also disciple students through a Biblical worldview and Christ-centered encouragement. Dr. Goldsmith’s experience, leadership, and heart for students make her a wonderful addition to our middle and high school programs.
We are thankful the Lord has brought Dr. Goldsmith to P.R.C.A. and look forward to the positive impact she will have on our students, families, and school community.
Please join us in giving Dr. Goldsmith a warm P.R.C.A. welcome!
