P.R.C.A. Welcomes Mr. Joshua Tishken as the English & Agriculture Teacher for 6th-9th Grade!

Pleasant Ridge Christian Academy is excited to welcome Mr. Joshua Tishken to our teaching faculty as our English and Agriculture Teacher for grades 6–9.

Mr. Tishken is a graduate of Pensacola Christian College, where he earned a Bachelor's Degree with an emphasis in Music Education and Music Performance, along with a minor in General Bible Studies. His educational background, combined with a heart for Christian education and student discipleship, makes him a wonderful addition to the P.R.C.A. family.

He brings three years of teaching experience from the Escambia County School District, where he has served as an Elementary Music Teacher, Middle School Band Director, and most recently, a Middle School Agriculture Teacher. Throughout his teaching career, he has enjoyed watching students grow academically while developing leadership skills, confidence, and practical knowledge that will benefit them well beyond the classroom.

When asked about joining P.R.C.A., Mr. Tishken shared:

"This year I am excited to join the Pleasant Ridge Christian Academy team teaching Secondary English and Agriculture. I am excited for the students to excel in academics while learning practical skills that will prepare them for the future."

At P.R.C.A., we believe education extends beyond the classroom. Our desire is to prepare students academically while equipping them to become Christ-centered leaders who serve others with integrity and purpose. Mr. Tishken's passion for education, agriculture, and Biblical instruction aligns beautifully with that mission.

We are grateful the Lord has brought Mr. Tishken to P.R.C.A. and look forward to the positive impact he will have on our middle and high school students. His enthusiasm for teaching and commitment to helping students grow make him a wonderful addition to our faculty.
